There are better ways

WILMINGTON, Calif. -- A man apparently upset about his job situation killed his wife and five children before committing suicide at their home, according to Los Angeles police.

Police investigate after the discovery of seven bodies in a Wilmington home.

Responding to a report of a shooting, officers discovered the bodies of a man, woman, 8-year-old girl, two 5-year-old twin girls and two 2-year-old twin boys, according to LAPD Deputy Chief Kenneth Garner.

Los Angeles Coroner Ed Winter said more information would be available Wednesday, but it appears some of the children were shot multiple times.

"(The father) was despondent, clearly, over his job situation," Garner said.

A statement from the couple's employer, Kaiser Permanente, identified the man and woman as Ervin Antonio Lupoe, 40, and his wife, Ana:

"We are deeply saddened to hear of the deaths of the Lupoe family. Our sympathies are with all of their extended family and friends at this time. We are also providing resources and support to our employees who are affected by this tragedy. Ervin Antonio Lupoe and his wife Ana are former employees of Kaiser Permanente West Los Angeles Medical Center. We are cooperating with the Los Angeles Police Department which is investigating this case.

There is No Change Still the Same

Police have released surveillance video images of a white pick up truck seen leaving the scene of a fatal shooting early Saturday morning.

19-year-old Adair Freeman was shot to death outside his father’s recording studio on Jan. 24 at 1:50 a.m. as he returned to the studio from a Shell gas station at 14th and Spring streets.

Surveillance video shows a white late model Chevrolet pickup truck with a black bed liner pull past the pumps at the Shell station and park in the shadows near a chain link fence separating the property from the adjoining Hot Beats studio where Freeman worked with his father, Russell Freeman. (Watch video)

Police believe two men inside the pickup truck targeted Freeman while he was inside the convenience store and waited for him to walk by.

What got their attention was the fake diamond chain dangling around Freeman’s neck. Surveillance video from inside the convenience store shows Freeman totally iced out with fake bling on his neck, wrists and fingers.

This type of jewelry called “Hip Hop ice” was popularized by rappers in music videos and is favored by so-called “ballers” in the Hip-Hop community who use the flashy baubles to entice thirsty females.

The trouble is the jewelry also entices thieves who are too dumb to know the difference between authentic diamond jewelry and the fake stuff these kids wear.

Police say the truck’s driver exited the vehicle and robbed Freeman of his chain, shooting him twice in the chest. The driver then got back into the truck on the passenger side. Someone else drove the truck away from the crime scene.

The iced out chain the thieves stole was probably worth $50 tops. The teenager died with $90 still in his jeans pocket.

Take Dat- Take Dat (in my Diddy voice)

Reeeeeemiiiiiixx!!!!!!! (missy voice)
Well it seem that a Great Question was brought up in another blog and the question was. "If I don't believe in interracial relationships does that make me a racist?" I was like DAAAAAAAYUUUUM!!!! THAT'S GOOD!! THX (Anonymous!) but a responce came like a theif in the night and shook up my lil blog that made sense to me also: "If someone chooses to be in an interracial relationship, but you do not, does their relationship really affect you at all? Does anyone's personal, intimate, relationship really affect others, who are non-related to the relationship? Race and all other factors aside." thanks!! (Inamorata) Let's discuss this.. OH NO fighting! just heavy Debates

We the People or You the People

Well a lot has changed and we see that from the old days of slavery, hangings, etc.. But still today even with a new Black President taking this big step into History we still have this Racism or Predudice even to the Point that Many think just because you're a certain Color or Ethnic Group you are to act or think a certain way. I Have a few Questions for my intelligent Bloggers to answer.

To what degree do you believe race and ethnicity determine identity?
Do people allow their race/ethnicity to inform their sense of self?
Should they?
Why or why not?
What good can come of it?
What bad?

Do "we" as a society allow race and ethnicity to inform our perceptions of others and the roles we expect them to play?
Should we?
Why or why not?
What good can come of it?
What bad?

Hook me up Lord

With Valentines (take your money) Day around the corner so many In love or Lust and so much is put on having a Mate. But A Question was put on me in a Discussion with some of My many Single and Married Saved friends that feel like God himself is a Matchmaker or a Cupid sort to speak. Me Myself and a Few others Believe God is NOT a Matchmaker he instead Gives us Free will and allows us to pick our Own Mate Based on the Guidelines he's given us in the bible. But OOOOOOH NOOOO don't let me Go against what some believe Good Ole Passtah said since he's been Saved and Filled with the Holy Spirit since Moses was around but does what HE say make it correct? I've spoke to some Pastors who think as I do whom have said they believe the bible is a Guide for us here on earth to use and WE choose. So My whole thing is, Do you believe God is a Matchmaker/Cupid or Do we have Free will to Choose?

Where's The Love

Where's the Love? With Valentines right around the corner,I've been reading more and More on this BS out here about Black men/black women and all and damn is all I can Say "Damn" is this what society actually think of us? Here's what Allot of people think about Us and No this isn't just White people for the closed minded I'm talking "EVERYONE" even blacks.
It seems that Single African-American men suggest that a number of Single Black women tend to exhibit behavior that is too ‘bossy,' too controlling, and excessively antagonistic. Many Single African-American women counter those criticisms and accusations by suggesting that Single Black men have no desire to commit to one woman, are not responsible fathers, and often times prefer Caucasian women and Asian women over the romantic companionship of African-American women. Popular feature-films such as Tyler Perry's "Diary of a Mad Black Woman" and "Why Did I Get Married?" highlight many aspects of the chasm between the genders in the Black Community.
I'm not going to agree on everthing said about the Women nor the men but ummm seems alot to be true..

Oh yes I did

I read an article then did some research and seen a statistic stating that 70 percent of Black women are single. Why? Now I know I have a Mixed community of Bloggers so please EVERYone use Wisdom when speaking that's all I ask if you choose to comment meaning NO Name Calling please. Here's some of what I read: Are you a single Black woman who is bitter because of failed relationships with highly promiscuous Black men? Are you a single Black man who is disenchanted with the perceived ‘angry attitudes' of Black women? I constantly hear Black women bashing Black men, and single Black men offering harsh, critical generalizations of single Black women. These issues need to be discussed

My bad

Sorry about not keeping up with the blog but I got away from the reason I started the blog in the first place. This was really to let people know what was on my mind at the time and I started making this about topics that I felt others would like to possibly talk about. So I stepped back and thought I'll put what's going on in my Life and the adventures I have and if people want to comment then that's cool. See I was trying to cater this blog to fit everyone elses wants and needs instead of Mine. Now that I'm back on track I'll put a few things up of what's on my mind and if you want comment if not I got self therapy by simply out putting my thoughts and adventures before I blow up. LOL. So "MY Bad" Appology to MYself.

It's Starting up

See many of you Think I'm probably Noid or something but I feel after Obama is in the White House it's going to be open season On Black People. I still Voted for the man because I believe he can actually do better than Bush (but shit I could to) but I feel it's about to be on and Popping after he sits his Black Ass in the White House Seat. Check this Story out: updated 9:15 a.m. ET, Fri., Jan. 2, 2009

BELLAIRE, Texas - A police officer shot a former professional baseball player's son outside of a Bellaire home early Wednesday, KPRC Local 2 reported.

Anthony Cooper said a Bellaire police officer approached him and his brother, Robert Tolan, in their driveway on Woodstock Street near Evergreen Street in Bellaire at about 2 a.m., after they returned home from a fast-food restaurant.

"We didn't know it was a police officer at all until he turned on his light, his flashlight, and had a gun," Cooper said. "They didn't even ask us any questions."

Cooper, 20, said the officer told them to get down on the ground.

"We were going into the house and our parents came outside," Cooper said. "Our parents said, 'What's going on?' They didn't say anything to us but, 'Get down on the ground.' They said, 'Well, it's a stolen vehicle, ma'am.' She's (the mother) like, 'What stolen vehicle? That's his vehicle.'"

"The vehicle was later determined not to be stolen," Assistant Police Chief Byron Holloway said. "The license plate was run, but exactly why they believe it was stolen … just don't have the information to make a comment on it."

Cooper said the officer harassed Tolan's mother. Cooper said that when Tolan yelled at the officer, the officer shot him in the chest.

"Shot him on the ground," said Cooper. "Not even in the arm or anything. They shot him in his chest."

Police said Tolan wasn't on the ground when Sgt. Jeff Cotton fired.

"Some type of altercation ensued, in which the sergeant fired two shots, possibly three shots, striking one of the persons who exited the vehicle at least once," Holloway said "From what I know, he got up off the ground."

Tolan was rushed to Ben Taub Hospital with injuries to his liver and his lung. He is in fair condition.

Tolan's family said they want Cotton to face charges. Tolan's family's attorney said the shooting may have been racially motivated.

"There's no doubt in my mind that if these had been white kids, this does not happen," David Berg said. "There is no justification for what happened."

Investigators said Cotton has been with the department since August 1999 and has been a sergeant for two years. He does not have a record of disciplinary action. He has been placed on administrative leave following the outcome of the investigation.

Tolan is the son of Bobby Tolan, who won the World Series in 1967 with the St. Louis Cardinals. He also played for the Cincinnati Reds, San Diego Padres, Philadelphia Phillies and Pittsburgh Pirates.

"He was trying to pursue a career in baseball like I did," Bobby Tolan said. "It's very unfortunate what happened, but the Bellaire Police Department knows what they did."

Pimp Down code 10

I seen something funny and thought I'd share it. What happens when a Pimp get slapped? I mean isn't the pimp suppose to be doing the Slapping? Well Katt Williams found out other wise. He was Slapped back to Reality real Quick like for running his Mouth in Detroit Michigan.. Now this City known for Taking Yung Berg Chain, a Gangsta Mayor, and now Slapping Katt Williams. Also did you know that Katt is going After Steve Harvey? Now he wants to go Toe to Toe via Jokes and now you've just been Bitch Slapped and did nothing at all to the person who did it? I don't think you should Challange Mr. HighTower right now..

Wake up we sleep walking

This is what's on MY mind today.. Police Brutality/Slavery coming back people watch what I tell you. They say History repeats itself and it may not be in the exact order in which one might remember it but will repeat. This video is showing once again the killing of a Black Man in the hands of the ONLY GANG that can't is open to do what they want, "The Police." I am very ticked about this Mess here and what will we as black People do? March to Washington? Sue for Money? Sing Ole Spiritual Slave Songs to help ease the Pain and Anger? Go to Church and Listen to some Preacher Tell us God Gonna Get them Men that did this? Man I'm Furious about this shit! How can we Make a change for the better? For the record "Change" does not start with Obama it's with Us NOW should've been started.
