I've always had an interest for who I am as a black man other than hearing James Brown tell me "I'm black and I'm proud" or the Black Church telling Me I'm Gods Child and a Descendant of Abraham. I'm not changing my religion but they did have some nice books on who we are. So it brought me to this question, "Are young black men being overlooked in the local church when it comes to their role in society and how to conduct themselves and recognize who they are?"

Is it me or does it seem like in Christianity that the certain people actually think God is a Genie. All you have to do is Pray and He's at YOUR command? I think I just remember something that makes a lot of sense to me, "Faith without works is dead" Or I'd say "Prayer without work is dead" but are you going against having Faith if you prayed on a situation and went out and trying to resolve it? hmmm????

Why is it that People that get angry think that, "Cursing" someone out is actually doing something? I mean I don't want to make this a black and white thing because people of all colors curse one another out. But I've been dealing with my soul sisthas for many years and I do notice that Most seem to want to Curse you out and roll the Neck and get that point across and think they actually hurt someone feelings. hahaha!! That's funny to me because most of us guys tune it out anyway but why do people think literally cursing someone out is doing something? How intelligent is that? Now this is something that seems to be a slight debate among men and women. But My question is, "Do you think a Man should automatically know how to hit your spot when you don't even have a clue where your spot is?" Well for the last week or so I've hired a personal Trainer to help me with improving my self image and strength. I was working out before but not to this extent and the fact I have allot of pride at times can prove to be my own worst enemy. Well I've already buckled under some weight to the point my damn shoe came off and still no one helped a brotha then working out yesterday till the point I got light headed and got sick.. Who in the hell thought I'd pay for this type of pain? The killing part is it's from My own Cousin!! Yes I'm trying to figure that out to but shit he does this to his own sister so I'm starting to think either he cares allot or he just likes to torture people, LOL.. (CNN) -- A former south Alabama judge is accused of checking male inmates out of jail and forcing them to engage in sexual activity including paddling, according to officials and court documents. Former Mobile County Circuit Judge Herman Thomas was arrested Friday after a grand jury returned the indictments against him. He was released on $287,500 bond later Friday.

The indictments total 57 counts, and the charges range from ethics violations to kidnapping, extortion, sex abuse and sodomy. If convicted on the most serious charge -- kidnapping, a Class A felony -- Thomas faces a prison sentence of 10 to 99 years in prison, Mobile County District Attorney John Tyson Jr. said Monday.

But Thomas' attorney, Robert Clark, said Friday the accusations against the former judge amount to "a high-tech lynching."

Now I think if some of these kids parents were doing what he was doing maybe they wouldn't be in jail but then again maybe there were and this is why they are in jail.. Good Morning!! Have you ever had a Dream or nightmare that Felt so real that you swear you can touch and feel every thing in it? I must have been seriously tired and went to bed watching First 48 the Crime investigation show where every tells on themselves and the police look like big shot for solving the case. But anyway, I went to sleep and had a Nightmare I went to prison for 30 yrs!! "Yes" 30 damn years! And I had a chance to Escape cause for some odd reason I was doing repairs on a home and had an opportunity to escape and all I could think about was my kids. I woke up looking around the room like damn I'm glad that was a Nightmare and not real because I would be in Mexico right now running from the law. Well Tell me have you ever had a Dream or Nightmare that seemed real or even one that actually came true like you seen the future. That's actually happen to me before.

Cleveland man kills self after murdering wife, 4 others

Cleveland police say the man wanted for murdering his new wife and four other family members has killed himself while holed up in a house, The Plain Dealer reports.

Davon Crawford, 33, shot himself about 4:20 p.m. ET after being cornered by police. He was wanted for gunning down Lechea Crawford, 30, whom he married Monday; her sister, Rose Stevens, 25; and three of her children, Destiny Woods, 5, and 2-year-old twins Deon and Davion Primm.

A 7-year-old boy remains hospitalized. Crawford's 2-month old daughter was unharmed.

Police said they don't yet know what sparked the killings.

Crawford had a long criminal record, the Plain Dealer says. He served time for manslaughter after killing a man in a 1995 dispute over a girlfriend, and in 2002 he returned to prison after pleading guilty to felony assault with a firearm, endangering children and other charges.

(CNN) -- A man suspected of killing five members of his family and wounding another on Thursday committed suicide after police surrounded him in a house, police in Cleveland, Ohio, said Friday.
Police say Davon Crawford, 33, killed his new wife, her sister and three children.

Acting on a tip, police surrounded the house and then entered it after seeing a man who matched the description of suspect Davon Crawford briefly step outside, police spokesman Lt. Thomas Stacho said.

"They confronted the male hiding in a bathroom," Stacho said. "When he spotted the agents, then he took his own life."

Cleveland police launched a manhunt Thursday for Crawford, 33, suspected of killing his new wife, Lechea Crawford, 30; her sister, Rose Stevens, 25; and three of Stevens' children, Destiny Woods, 5, and 2-year-old twins Dion and Davion Primm.

A 7-year-old boy was shot and hospitalized, Julie Short, a spokeswoman for MetroHealth Medical Center, said Friday. The boy's grandfather told CNN affiliate WEWS that the boy was in stable condition and talking after having been shot in the shoulder.

A fourth child, a 12-year-old boy, managed to escape, WKYC reported.

The Cleveland Plain Dealer also reported that a 2-month-old girl, the daughter of Davon and Lechea Crawford, escaped the shooting unharmed and is being cared for.

Police began searching for Crawford, 33, Thursday night after receiving a call around 8 p.m. to the upper floor of a duplex.

"It looks like it was some type of domestic argument that sparked this tragedy," Police Chief Michael McGrath said Friday

Well Unless you have been living under a Rock you have heard about the men that were lost at sea. Well I was thinking about that situation while I was in the shower (no homo) and thought about what If I was out there would I survive the elements, and predators of the sea? I was thinking damn, all that water and no land for Miles, Freezing water and I'm in the Gulf of Mexico shark infested water. Well while thinking all this the water gets cold in the shower and woke me outta my, "I wonder" Mode. Umm I don't know if I would've survived that seeing how quick I got out the shower when the water turned cold. Yesterday, loyal member KaraZ requested a follow-up post on the four missing boaters after she read reports that three of the men removed their life vests and simply drifted off. She thought there was something fishy going on.

In reality, it is a miracle that one of the men survived. At the time the boaters went missing, the temperature of the water in the Gulf of Mexico was an average of 64 degrees. The normal body temperature is 98.6. Any deviation in either direction of that range can result in the break down of vital bodily functions, leading to death.

As you know, if your temperature drops too far below normal, the brain sends a signal to the body to begin shivering — which in turn brings your body temperature back up due to the friction of the muscles.

But if you are exposed to the cold for a prolonged period of time, the shivering eventually stops. Once the shivering stops, confusion begins to set in and the patient loses his ability to think and speak clearly. In a last ditch effort to keep the vital organs (such as the heart, lungs, liver and kidneys) warm, the brain shunts warm blood away from the hands and feet and into the core of the body.

When the blood leaves the hands they become numb making it impossible to perform simple tasks such as holding onto the side of a boat.
