I just wanted to say hello to everyone today! I thought I'd visit my imaginary world with the sun shining and all I'm in this pic in the back waaaaay in the back. hahahaha!! Well hey I was thinking have you ever had someone that was a habitual Liar? I mean they lie even when they know you know that they know you know they lying? (you get all that?) I know women and Men who do that I mean seriously do it and actually believe their own lies! Tell me some stories and why you think they do what they do.

I think lying is a form of insecurity to some degree. When people lie about the small stuff it is because they think they are being judged.
EXAMPLE: A few years ago a guy I used to date calls me and tells me hit lotto. I was like "really? CONGRATULATIONS!" Then he said "not lotto lotto, but an ideal contract. I won't have to work again in LIFE". Me "Congrats!"
A few weeks later, he calls me back and asks me to Google and see how much a certain position usually makes. I tell him (it was like $45k)and he is like "Ok, I can do that. That's good money". So, I was like "I thought you didn't have to work any more?" Then he started stuttering... (stutter stutter)
Like Focus said ... you ain't got to lie to kick it. But all in all I think folks lie to get sympathy, make themselves look better, or for some other manipulative reason, but I think it is all about designing how people look at you and view you.
wow!!! hahaha!!@t-mac!! all i can say is wow! I had a guy just last week tell a friend of mine that he knows Jada kiss, he hangs with Nas all the time him and swiss beats thinking about an album together, hahahaha! And he said he had a Mercedes Benz all to get this persons phone # and she laughed so hard cause she seen him pulling up in a raggedy azz volvo with no grill. Man I was on the floor laughing I have No clue what dumb asses be thinking but they do it.
I can't stand liars, don't trust them, they get written off quickly, I hate that!!!!! WITH A PASSION IF YOU CAN'T TELL IT'S UNECESSARY, I think liars should be dumped in a pit and burned

I feel the same way, well, not the burning part (lol). You ain't gotta lie to kick it... I don't understand why people lie to make themselves look "good", they end up looking like *sses! That is such a turn off!
Ya, but EVERYONE lies. Each of us here has told a lie this month, maybe even this week, or TODAY. So, burning folks would leave the world empty. Truthfully, speaking of course (LOL).

I know I lie, who doesn't? I try to ONLY tell little lies (lol), b/c if I'm not careful I realize they could balloon into larger lies, but.... (insert after school special line, "If everyone jumped off a bridge, would you?")sigh* Lying is wrong, but who tells the truth all the time????
but if Liars should burn wouldn't you burn also@Raven? Plus lil lie or big lie white lie or black lie it's still a lie.
It takes a LOT of energy to keep up with lies. So, I really really try to just keep everything real truthful or my favorite "I would rather not say" or I sit with a blank look on my face LOL. But I am guilty of lying through omission. I don't always SAY everything. Which is just as bad, right?
I don't think liars should burn... I'm not a liar, I'm just a truth-with holder, however, yep, it's just as bad (nodding @ T-Mac), but oh well. ;)

Us admitting it is half the battle, PLUS people should quit being so nosey, then we wouldn't be put in that position (LOL... like how I turned it around? that's when you know you are wrong).
